Little 'Tweaks' Here and There
The summer is great, and I've dived into my sewing and materials box and started to alter some bits and bobs that I have lying around. This is a Vintage Hat I bought a while back made by Edna Wallace. I've made it less rounded and shaped it forward with lovely bands to flatter the head shape. Looking forward to 'fall where I can rock this fluffy ensemblé.
'Art'
June and July have been great fun. Joined a theatre group and helped paint and construct a set for a production called, 'Art' this month. Very simple set, but it was great to get involved with backstage and helping construct it!
Great News...they want me to design their next set. So excited.

End of Year Exhibition
My end of year exhibition, it's been a busy year and completely flown by but I've loved it!
Tunnel Book
This was my final second year collaborative project with Meggie Wood. We created a tunnel book each using influences from the same poet.
As you open the book, the three dimensional artwork is discovered and the viewer looks through the 'peep-hole' to see the many frames of the tunnel book. In my 'Morning' book, each frame represents each stanza of the poem I picked by James Hogg. So we visually travel through the poem, with an innovative twist on an ordinary book.

Exciting News!
I have been given the opportunity to Design the Set for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - The Musical
I have an exciting group of people helping me out on this one, and I couldn't be more
excited!
So I have been taking lots of notes on the script, attending lots of meetings and drawing lots of stage layouts. Here is the stage so far...scaled down 1:24... how cute!
